Look up exact committed messages
Operation boundary
- Caller: Trusted backend only
- Scope: Reads exact message indexes within current membership visibility, without a recent-history scan fallback.
- Success: Selectors form a union ordered and deduplicated by sequence; exhaustion or any failed read returns no partial result.
- Recovery: Every node must support the indexed-read RPC; older nodes reject it explicitly.
